Immersive, inclusive and engaging.

This weekly offer uses multi-sensory theatre to support autonomy, agency, and creativity for children, young people, and adults with autism, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), and/or whom experience the world in a sensory way.

What is 7Sense Theatre?

Three times a year, we create a new 30-minute multi-sensory show engaging the seven senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, vestibular, and proprioception. Each show is shared weekly throughout a term with the same, small audiences of 8–10 people, either inside the immersive tent we build in your setting or through our playful, portable trolley version we take around to all your classes/groups.  We perform up to 7 shows a day in a setting depending on the booking.

01
Mindfully Created

Each carefully crafted show has live music, singing, storytelling and sensory props to create an immersive world. Our audiences are invited to enjoy a creative experience, and find meaning within it, in their own unique sensory way.

02
Responsive Performance

Our skilled actor-musicians respond in the moment to each participant, shaping the pace, tone, and mood of the performance each week together.

03
Power in Repetition

Weekly performances give space for participants to process, anticipate, imitate and collaborate within the show, and offer a comfort and safety through their familiarity. This gentle rhythm nurtures confidence and agency in a creatively rich environment.

We offer weekly or ad-hoc bookings to schools, colleges, community settings and more!

“The pupils have engaged so positively, we have seen so much improvement in their listening, attention and engagement. It has really supported their regulation, sensory needs, communication and listening skills.”
